Tracks

Types of Curtain Tracks
Choosing the right curtain track can enhance both the functionality and style of your window treatments. Here are the most common types:
1. Standard
These are the most versatile and widely used. Made from aluminium, steel, or plastic, they feature gliders that allow curtains to slide smoothly. Ideal for both wall and ceiling mounting.
2. Double
Perfect for layering sheer and blackout curtains. Two parallel tracks let you control light and privacy independently, making them great for bedrooms and living rooms.
3. Flexible -PVC
Designed for curved or angled windows, such as bay windows. These tracks can be bent to fit custom shapes and are often ceiling-mounted. We do not recommend these tracks due to their less robust materials and customers experience usability issues.
4. Ceiling-Mounted
These tracks are fixed directly to the ceiling, offering a clean, minimalist appearance. They’re ideal for floor-to-ceiling curtains or spaces where wall mounting isn’t possible.
5. Motorised
For ultimate convenience, motorised tracks allow you to open and close curtains with a remote or smart home system. Great for hard-to-reach windows or luxury interiors.
6. Corded
These tracks use a pull cord to operate the curtains, keeping fabric clean and reducing wear. They’re often used in commercial settings or formal spaces.
7. Extendable
Adjustable in length, these tracks are ideal for renters or anyone needing a flexible solution without cutting materials. You may notice the gliders going over the join and sometimes catching.
